The whole point of this problem is that the "Millenials" have to be the ones who make their own success. Many simply can't to be honest and seem to bizarrely be obsessed with themselves while not being able to think for themselves let alone be success ADULTS.
There are always problems and what is mentioned in this article are not problems that can't be solved. It's called making excuses. The Great Recession is over. Carry-on and see what you are really made of Millenials. Everyone makes their own destination.
Articles like this just make the problem of Millenial resentment worse.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10358485995231817878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2608503664772109513.post-60683930162504813662017-02-18T05:04:54.356-08:002017-02-18T05:04:54.356-08:00The issue that's raised by this article is ver...The issue that's raised by this article is very complex. There are many boomers who have agitated from the sixties onwards for environmental justice as well as redistributed wealth, but understandably each generation is tarred with the same brush, and that feels unfair, especially in individual encounters during which Gen Xers in particular treat elders with unmasked resentment. That resentment is so, so effective in drawing the line between age cohorts. At the same time, drawing that line doesn't really get us anywhere. But I do find myself feeling very uneasy whenever a Gen Xer clearly has it in for me just because of my age, so I guess there's a kind of power expressed there. Boomers need to insure their future in any way they can now because as you say, when the next generation is behind the wheel, there's no telling where they may lead us.domestic divahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15324117875413405647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2608503664772109513.post-14606133037866274702015-11-11T14:24:38.190-08:002015-11-11T14:24:38.190-08:00Okay, I see their point about the economy being aw...Okay, I see their point about the economy being awful, and it being tough to find a good paying job, but it feels so much like sour grapes. Let's all blame the generation that raised us and supported us (and all to often still do) for all the ills in our lives.
